Our history
1989
The Public Securities Group was formed as Hyperion Capital Management Inc., an institutional fixed income investment manager.
1990s-2018
We evolved our business through strategic acquisitions and capability enhancements, expanding our offerings to include listed real estate, infrastructure and real asset debt as well as solutions spanning our strategies.
2019-Today
In January 2019, we changed our name from Brookfield Investment Management Inc. to Brookfield Public Securities Group LLC to better reflect what we do and how we market our business. Since then, we have continued to expand our team and capabilities while staying true to our real asset heritage and expertise.
